Executive District Officer (EDO) Health of Dera Ismail Khan Dr Aashiq Saleem and two others went missing on Wednesday. According to police sources, Dr Ashiq Saleem went missing in certain area between Kohat and Darra Adamkhel, as he was on his way back home from Peshawar to Dera Ismail Khan. According to police sources, two other people including his driver Javed and paramedical office-bearer Ataullah also went missing along with the EDO Health.

The police sources said the EDO Health Dr Ashiq contacted his family at 9pm Tuesday, when he told that he is passing through Darra Adamkhel. And, later on, the contact with him discontinued with no report if he was abducted as the phone numbers of Dr Ashiq and his two associates are closed. It is pertinent to note here that Dr Ashiq Saleem has worked as the Medical Superintendent of Dera Ismail Khan District Teaching Hospital.
